There can be hundreds of applicants for the same job, so do your best to write an application that stands out in a positive way.

Is an open application worth sending?

Yes, it is. First you should check out the vacancies open just in case there is something interesting for you. Employers review open applications all the time. In your open application, you should tell what kind of job you are interested in and what motivates you in professional life.

How can I improve my chances to get into a job interview?

Potential applicants are always invited based on applications. Thus, it is very important to pay effort in formulating your application and carefully complement it with every detail that might be essential for the employer. Accurately formulated application helps employer to estimate your skills and strenghts for the job you are applying.

Should I apply even if I do not meet all the requirements lined in the announcement?

How does the recruiting process proceed after I have sent my application?

After you have sent your application you immediately receive a confirmation letter that we have received it. After this, the employer will have your application for his / her closer examination. Applicants with most potential are called to interview based on applications. How do I know when the search period ends? Is it possible to apply after the search period?

The last day to apply is announced in the job announcement. In some occasions announcement is removed before the search period ends. This is because a suitable employee is already found, or a sufficient amount of quolified candidates is invited to proceed the recruiting. Usually applications are already examined during the search period, so it is recommended to apply immediately as you see an interesting announcement. Applications arriving after the search period are not taken into consideration.

Are you using personality tests in interviews?

Short personality tests that candidate carries out as part of an interview or after it, are used occasionally. It is possible to test some qualities, such as conscientiousness and outgoingness, by testing.

How can I do well in an interview?

An interview is a nerve breaking situation for many people. However, you should not stress about it too much. Careful preparation halves the stress.
